Lois Barnes

Original Oil Paintings, 1932-2026

Lois Barnes, a renowned medical illustrator, attended the Cleveland Institute for the Arts from the age of ten until college, where she studied at Case Western Reserve and earned her degree in Art. Her myriad paintings are revered, especially her plein air paintings depicting seascapes of Southern California.

She was a member and award-winning painter with Palos Verdes Art Center in California, before relocating to Birchrunville in 2011, where she painted the many beautiful landscapes of the Chester County.
