Mixed Media Paintings

Brittany Brubaker received her Bachelor’s in Studio Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009. She continues to develop her artistic skills drawing portraits for clients, but predominantly enjoys working in mixed media using a combination of colored pencil, graphite, pen, acrylic, and watercolor.

Brittany enjoys finding and marveling at the beauty that’s always around. Even more so when it’s what others have overlooked. Her goal, whether a portrait or a landscape, is to bring the object to life. She enjoys switching between traditional drawing and painting mediums and often mixes mediums to achieve desired effects. The process of observing beauty, tactilely recreating that beauty, and then sharing the process and finished pieces with others is what she loves most about making art.
