Gwenn Knapp

Gwenn received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Bucknell University in 1967 and a Certificate in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in 1968. She was the Art Director for her design studio in New York, NY, and West Chester, PA, from 1973–2003. Currently, Gwenn serves on the Board of the Chester County Art Association and is a member of the Portrait Society of America and of the Longwood Rotary Club.

Gwenn paints realistic images in oils, with her favorite subjects being people. Her artwork seeks to capture human energy and spirit, as well as the creatures and creations around her. Through Gwenn’s paintings, she hopes to stir memories, spark feelings, and inspire others to take a closer look at themselves and their world.
